Mission, Vision & Strategic Plan

Building a school district vision and mission requires collaborative work across community stakeholder groups to capture the most important belief statements that drive the work toward achieving meaningful organizational goals. In Gower School District 62, significant work took place around the development of a mission and vision most recently in the mid 1980s; in 2005 with the establishment of the District Motto - 'Children at their Best!' ; and then in 2025.
